Inclusion Criteria
ASA I AND II
Exclusion Criteria
1 ASA III and IV
2 Anticipated difficult airway ( Mallampati class III and IV, thyromental distance <6 cm , inter-incisor
distance <3 cm, and cervical instability)
3 Severe renal disease
4 Allergic to any anaesthetic medication
5 Obese (BMI greater than or equal to 30)
6 ischemic heart disease and major cardiac disorders
7 Patients on β- blockers or vasodilators
8 Patients who will require second attempt of intubation
9 Intubation exceeding 30 seconds
