1.Subjects willing to give written informed consent
2.Patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) diagnosed according to the revised 2010 ACR criteria and with joint involvement score of 3 (4-10 small joints with or without involvement of large joints) for the classification of RA
3.Patients with moderate chronic periodontitis (at least 2 interproximal sites not on the same tooth with probing depth of >=5 to <7 mm or clinical attachment loss 3 to 4 mm) with at least 20 teeth present
4. Patients under similar medication for rheumatoid arthritis.
1.Mild and Severe chronic periodontitis
2.Antibiotic therapy and periodontal therapy in last 3 months
3.History of systemic diseases
4.History of hypersensitivity to mouthwash
5.Using any mouthwash/rinse in the last month
6.Smoking
7. Pregnancy
