- Brief Summary
This study looks at a variety of multiresistant organisms (MRO) and supports the findings that there is an ongoing deficit in patient’s knowledge and understanding of MROs. The way that care is currently delivered to patients with MROs at this facility results in patients feeling embarrassed, lonely, confused, abandoned, concerned and frightened. Based on this study, alternative frequency and methods of communication and information delivery should be considered to better cater to the needs of patients with MROs.
