Inclusion Criteria
1 ASA I to ASA III
2 Both genders
3 Patients undergoing elective sitting position intracranial tumour surgery with GCS more than 9.
Exclusion Criteria
1 Refusal of patient to participate in the study.
2 ASA IV
3 Pregnant patients
4 Patients with baseline heart rate less than 55/minute
5 Patients with heart blocks
6 Allergic to drugs .
7 History of drug abuse.
8 Preoperative aphasia.
9 Preoperatively foreseen delayed extubation.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Mean arterial pressure and heart rateTimepoint: Will be recorded at 5 time points.Before anaesthesia induction-(baseline),at placement of head frame,at dural incision, at the end of tumour resection ,at the end of dural closure. Intraoperatively episodes of hypotension or hypertension will be monitored .Haemodynamic monitoring will be continued till the end of surgery <br/ ><br>
