1) An equal number of men and women aged 25 to 69 years, with no more than thirty percent of all subjects younger than 40 years of age.
2) Recommended Foods Score of 36 or less.
3) No active disease (controlled hypertension is acceptable).
4) Taking no supplements or vitamins during or for 2 weeks before study.
5) Subjects with other well-controlled medical conditions that the Principal Investigator(Dr.Ko) judges to be of benign nature (e.g. well-controlled asthma) will also be allowed into the study.
6) Smokers and non-smokers will both be allowed into the study.
1) Use of multivitamin/mineral supplements within two weeks of the Screening visit.
2) Currently treated for uncontrolled hypertension or blood pressure greater > 160 mm Hg systolic or > 100 mm Hg diastolic during seated.
3) Therapeutic uses of coumadin, aspirin, or other medications that influence hemostasis within four weeks of the Screening visit. Preventive use of low-dose aspirin (e.g. 100-mg a day) is allowed.
4) Participation in another clinical trial within 30 days of enrollment into the study.
5) History or current abuse of drugs or alcohol, or intake > 64 g pure alcohol/day.
6) Known hypersensitivity to study product or any ingredient in study product.
