Age between 2 to 13 years
Tonsillectomy surgery with or without adenoidectomy
Class 1 of American Society of Anesthesiologists classification, include: A normal healthy patient without acute or chronic disease and normal body mass index percentile for age
Class 2 of American Society of Anesthesiologists classification, include: A patient with mild systemic disease such as: asymptomatic congenital cardiac disease, well controlled epilepsy, non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus and abnormal body mass index percentile for age
