1. All open spine surgeries.
2. Patients with age 18 years and greater.
3. Patients with low risk of anaesthesia related complications( i.e. ASA I and ASA II patients ).
will be enrolled for the study.
1.Minimally invasive spine surgeries and unilateral single level fenestration discectomies.
2.Patients with age less than 18 years.
3.Patients with blood dyscrasias ,coagulation profile abnormality and renal disorders.
4.Patients with high risk of anaesthesia related complications ASA III and ASA IV patients.
5.Duration of surgery more than 6 hours.
6.Patients on medication which can interfere with tranexamic acid such as aspirin ,clopidogrel , dabigatran , heparin , enoxaparin , fondaparinux.
will be excluded from the study.
