- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The primary outcome measure are the neuropsychological tests scores and neuroimaging parameters such as CBF values, hippocampal volume, mean diffusivity and fractional anisotropy as indication for grey and white matter integrity and BOLD responses during the Stroop task.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Secondary measures comprise the (histopathological and biochemical) health status of the collected organs, gut microbiota composition changes (in mucosa and feces) and profiling of circulating mediators in blood (plasma and serum), as well as lifestyle and dietary habits in relation to cognition and brain function and structure.
