Be controlled hypertensive; regardless of the class of medication used and the combination of two or more medications; be between 30 and 59 years of age; be sedentary for at least six months; have a body mass index of up to 30 kilos per square meter; not using contraceptives or under hormonal replacement; having medical clearance to practice physical exercise; not having osteomioarticular disease that could compromise the partial or total performance of the proposed exercises; not having any other disease that could compromise the cardiovascular; respiratory or metabolic to exercise; do not have diabetes mellitus; do not smoke or drink alcohol; do not have damage to a target organ; such as nephropathy; heart disease; etc. and accept to be a project volunteer. Only women with BP will be included in the study. Controlled; that is; who are undergoing drug treatment of any class. All volunteers included in the study signed an informed consent form.
Women who during the experimental period 4 months; have changes in drug treatment as class; dose; drug interaction and those who; at the end of 16 weeks of physical training; have a frequency below 75% or who have had two or more consecutive absences in training.
