Inclusion Criteria
Patient older than 20 years of age who have primary trigger finger grade II, IIIA and IIIB based on the Green classification
Exclusion Criteria
Underlying inflammatory joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or gouty arthritis
Dupuytren’s disease
Diabetic mellitus
Injury to the involved digit
history of an allergy to triamcinolone acetonide or lidocaine
previous treatment of the involved digit with steroid injection
