1) ASA physical status 1 and II
2) Patients undergoing laparoscopic surgeries
under general anaesthesia
3) Provides consent
Exclusion Criteria
1) Patient refusal or unable to give consent
2) ASA physical status III & above
3) Patients with nasal deformities.
4) Patients allergic to study drug.

Name Time Method To determine the effect of intranasal dexmedetomidine on stress response to pneumoperitoneum in laparoscopic surgeries.Timepoint: Baseline(Preop),5 mins before Pneumoperitoneum(T0),At the time of Pneumoperitoneum(TP),and then every 5mins thereafter[5mins (T5),10mins (T10),15mins (T15),20mins (T20),25mins (T25),30mins (T30)]
