Inclusion Criteria
1. Scheduled for elective Infraumbilical surgeries of duration 45 minutes to one hour under general anaesthesia with supraglottic devices
2. ASA I and II
3. Parents giving valid informed consent.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Difficult airway
2. Active URTI /LRTI
3. Craniofacial abnormalities
4. Cardiopulmonary defects
5. Hepatic or renal insufficiency
6. Known seizure disorder
7. Neuromuscular defects

Name Time Method To study effect of intranasal Dexmedetomidine 1µg/kg as a premedication on <br/ ><br>1. Minimum alveolar concentration of sevoflurane for igel insertion in children. <br/ ><br>2. Postoperative emergence delirium in children. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: At the time of induction. <br/ ><br>Immediate postoperative period.
