Inclusion Criteria
(1)Patients scheduled to undergo craniotomy for supratentorial tumors
(2)ASA-I and II patients.
(3)18 â?? 65 yrs of age
Exclusion Criteria
(1)Pre-operative hypernatremia or hyponatremia (serum Na <130 or >150mEq/L).
(2)History of congestive heart failure, kidney disease, chronic obstructive airway disease.
(3)History of ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt.
(4)Initial serum osmolarity >320mosm/kg.
