Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Any wound on trunk or limbs in 18\-60 years old adults caused by injury or surgery.
  • 2\. Patients between age 18\-60 years with an informed signed consent visiting the outpatient clinic of AIIA, or those admitted to the indoor wards of AIIA and shall be recruited in the study if they have a wound on trunk or limbs as above.
  • 3\. Patients presenting with chronic wounds will be initially treated with daily dressing cleansing with normal saline and dressing with paraffin gauze along with surgical debridement.
  • 4\. Presence of diabetes will be included in the study with appropriate correction of their body
  • physiology.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patient not able to understand or sign the consent or those not being able to visit the clinic will be
  • 2\. Wound size \> 5cm in maximum diameter.
  • 3\. Known allergy to honey, Taila and Tegaderm.
  • 4\. Patients suffering from wounds like, Leprotic ulcer, Tubercular ulcer.
  • 5\. Patients suffering from malignant ulcers.
  • 6\. Patients with Hepatitis, AIDS \& STD.
