Patients suffering from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome admitted to the intensive care unit between ages 18 years to 70 years will be enrolled for the study
Patients with chest trauma pneumothorax hemothorax rib fractures
Previously known cause of chronic hyalbuminemia
Post surgical patients involving gastro intestinal tract surgeries
Patients who have received massive blood transfusion
Patients who have received human albumin transfusion prior to recruitement
Hyperproteinemia known prior to recruitment
Patients with preexisting cardiac failure pulmonary hypertension or cardiac arrhythmias
