All consented cases of
1-patients aged =18 years.
2-patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia with any one of the following:
i. Lower urinary tract symptoms who had failed standard medical therapy (alpha blockers, 5 alpha reductase inhibitors)
ii. Recurrent urinary retention (drug-refractory)
iii. Recurrent urinary tract infection
iv. Recurrent hematuria
v. Obstructive uropathy
1 ASA Grade 3 or more.

2 Patients with congenital or acquired Hyper/ hypocoagulation disorders.
3 Patients with hematological malignancies.
4 Patients with decompensated chronic liver disease or renal impairment or other bleeding diathesis.
5 Patients with collagen vascular disease or other connective tissue disorders.
6 Patients with a history of thromboembolic disease.
7 Patients with history of arrhythmias
8 Patients with a history of acute coronary syndrome within the past 12 months
9 Patients with active or untreated UTI
