Inclusion criteria include: patients admitted to the Hospital Charitable Foundation Surgery in preoperative procedure for cardiac surgery (valvuloplasty or valve replacement and / or CABG); both sexes aged 20 and 70 years; absence of psychiatric condition, cognitive decline or dementia influencing the communication process; absence of neuromuscular or musculoskeletal disorder or recent unresolved that may affect your ability to walk or mobility.
Patients will be excluded conditions : contraindications to the use of therapies with noninvasive positive pressure as decreased level of consciousness , ineffective cough , airway obstruction , abdominal distension , vomiting , upper gastrointestinal bleeding , hemodynamic instability , coronary syndrome acute , complex arrhythmias , facial trauma , surgery , esophageal barotrauma undrained ; patients requiring mechanical ventilation , invasive for over 24hrs , patients who refuse to sign the consent form or refuses to perform the treatment , patients in the control group at any time of the present study indicate ventilatory support both invasive and non -invasive clinically by dyspnea characterized by: increased respiratory rate > 25 bpm , paradoxical pattern , use of accessory muscles , runs and fall of oxygen saturation ; surgical complications that impede patient participation in research .
