1. Individuals having been diagnosed with Visual Impairment.
2. The International Classification of Diseases 11 (2018) classifies vision impairment into two groups, distance, and near-presenting vision impairment.
3.Distance vision impairment:
Mild â?? visual acuity worse than 6/12 to 6/18
Moderate â?? visual acuity worse than 6/18 to 6/60
Severe â?? visual acuity worse than 6/60 to 3/60
Blindness â?? visual acuity worse than 3/60
4. Near vision impairment:
Near visual acuity worse than N6 or M.08 at
40cm.
5. Understanding English or Kannada
1. Hard of Hearing and any other sensory impairment, as reported by history and documentation.
2. History of Neurological conditions (epilepsy, traumatic brain injury - as evidenced by posttraumatic amnesia, skull fracture, or loss of consciousness, stroke).
3. Diagnosed Psychiatric Conditions (psychosis, substance abuse, mood disorders, mental retardation).
