- Patients up to 14 years of age who are undergoing surgery and for whom a central venous line is indicated or their pre-existing conditions, a CVC is indicated.

Inclusion Criteria
Patients who are undergoing surgery
and for whom a CVC is indicated due to the procedure or their pre-existing conditions.

- Prior informed consent and informed, written consent of the
parent/legal guardian
Exclusion Criteria
Children with an existing CVC or children who do not require a CVC for the operation

- Pat. with hemi- or Fontan circulation, Glenn-Fontan
