written informed consent.
male/female 18-60 years.
patient scheduled for knee arthroscopy.
asa grade 1-2.
duration of surgery less than 2 hours.
bmi< or = 30
Exclusion Criteria
contraindications to spinal anaesthesia.
pregnancy.
allergy to local anaesthetics,opioids and clonidine.
inability to comply with study procedure like psychiatric illness.
bmi>30.
history of chronic pain.
abuse of drugs, alchohol
