Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Adult patient of 19 years old or more receiving elective unilateral thoracic surgery .
- •2\. Patients with american society of anesthesiologist physical status 1 or 2
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. body mass index (BMI) \< 18\.5kg/m2 or BMI \> 35 kg/m2,
- •2\. significant thoracic cage deformity due to spine disease or other medical problems
- •3\. history of tracheostomy
- •4\. predicted difficult airway which need other strategy than usual direct laryngoscope or video laryngoscope,
- •5\. history of any type of pulmonary resection
- •6\. pleural disease such as pleural effusion and tuberculous pleurisy or had received pleurodesis.
