Infants more than 28 days old of either sex belonging to ASA I/II and scheduled to undergo elective surgery under General Anaesthesia at AIIMS Jodhpur
Known tongue, oropharyngeal, laryngeal or head and neck cancers, tumours or anatomy altering conditions. Any notable swelling, scarring, cysts, ongoing infections in the mouth, head or neck.
Facial fractures
Cervical spine fracture/instability
Inability to insert MacIntosh Blade in oral cavity for laryngoscopy
Full stomach/Emergency intubations/altered level of consciousness
Tracheostomised patients
Refusal or inability to give consent
Any airway compromise during the procedure
