- •candidates for lumbar spinal surgeries
Exclusion Criteria
- •Lack of cooperation in the study
- •Opioid abuse
- •Use of any other sedatives
- •Taking drugs that interfere with melatonin
- •non\-elective surgery
- •coagulative disorders
- •kidney or liver failure
- •history of drug allergy to melatonin
