Inclusion Criteria
Isolated close stable intertrochanteric fracture of femur, operated within 3 weeks of trauma
Exclusion Criteria
Pathological fracture
Polytrauma patients
Patients not willing to participate in the study
Patient not fit for major surgical intervention
Patients with pre-existing mobility disorder
