Systemically healthy patients with the age range of 30 to 60 years
Presence of 12 or more scorable teeth
Atleast 30% of teeth having pocket dept of 5 mm or more
Clinical attachment loss to be moderate to severe
Gingival index of 1 or more
Plaque index of 1.5 or more
Subjects with any systemic illness
Smokers or tobacco chewers
Pregnant or lactating mothers
Patients with prosthesis or orthodontic applicance
Patients on medications like antibiotics antioxidants
History of periodontal treatment in past 3 months prior to study
