Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) with PaO2/FiO2 \< 100 mmHg
- •Treatment with veno\-venous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation
Exclusion Criteria
- •Age \< 18 years, contraindications to prone positioning, pregnancy, presence of a cardiac pacemaker and/or implanted defibrillator, and life expectancy \< 24 hours.
