Patients with Probing pocket depth greater than 6 mm and Clinical attachment loss of greater than 3 mm.
Patients with 2 walled or 3 walled intrabony defects, with defect depth greater than 3 mm.
Teeth to be used for preparation of Demineralized Dentine Bone Graft are those that have previously been indicated for extraction due to
1.Poor periodontal prognosis with grade III mobility,
2. Poor restorability due to extensive loss of coronal structure, that had been previously deemed as non-restorable, or
3. Third molar teeth, that have been diagnosed as requiring extraction for their inability to erupt into the arch in their correct position.
All these states have unambiguously poor prognosis, that require tooth extraction. Therefore this should not be of ethical concern.
