Inclusion Criteria
1) Patients with moderate to severe chronic periodontitis
2) Probing pocket depth of >=5mm
3) Clinical attachment loss of >=3mm
4) 2 or 3 wall intrabony defects with radiographic defect of size >= 3 mm
Exclusion Criteria
1. Subjects with known systemic illnesses
2. Drug known to affect wound healing and drugs effecting platelets
3. Immune compromised individual
4. Pregnancy / lactation
5. Smoking (or tobacco use in any other form)
6. poor oral hygiene after re-evaluation of phase I therapy

Name Time Method 1.Probing pocket depth <br/ ><br>( PPD ) <br/ ><br>2.Clinical attachment level gain ( CAL ) <br/ ><br>3. Radiographic assessment of defect bone fill. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 1 ) PPD and CAL will be assessed at baseline , 3 months and 6 months . <br/ ><br>2) Radiographic assessment of defect bone fill will be assessed at 3 months and 6 months.
