Inclusion Criteria
Primigravida and Multigravida
- Gestational age of 37 completed weeks to 41 weeks
- Live singleton pregnancy
- Cephalic presentation
- In active phase of labour
- Membranes intact or ruptured ( PROM <12 hours)
Exclusion Criteria
- Patients having contraindications for usage of HNBB such as Myasthenia Gravis, Narrow angle glaucoma
- Multiple pregnancies
- conditions where there are Previous Uterine scars
- Malpresentation
- Cephalo pelvic dispropotion
- Antepartum hemorrhage
- Medical disorders complicating pregnancies such as severe anemia, cardiac diseases, hypertensive disorders
