Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients who underwent bariatric surgery using Roux\-en\-Y gastric bypass (RYGB); BMI higher or equal to 35 kg/m2; aged between 20 and 60 years and serum biochemistry outcomes collected before their scheduled RYGB.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Previous bariatric, disabsortive or restrictive gastrointestinal surgeries; immunosuppressive therapy use; pregnant or planning a pregnancy in the next 6 months; lactation; smoking; cancer and intestinal disabsortive syndromes diagnosis.
