Inclusion Criteria
Psychopathy (pcl-r score >=26)
Antisocial personality disorder according to the DSM-IV criteria
Exclusion Criteria
Specific exclusion criteria for patients: psychotic patients.
Exclusion criteria for both patients and controls: colour blindness, deafness or hard of hearing, neurological, cardiovascular, and respiratory diseases. Subjects will also be excluded when they cannot understand the Dutch language sufficiently to understand the purposes and implications of the experiment.

Name Time Method <p>Emotional functioning of psychopaths and ASPD-patients with a low PCL-R score<br /><br>will be studied by means of psychophysiological (Heart rate, blood pressure,<br /><br>skin conductance, breathing rate and eyeblink and post-auricular EMG), HPA axis<br /><br>(Salivary cortisol levels) and psychodiagnostic and risk-assessment instruments<br /><br>to investigate whether there are subgroups of antisocial offenders, who can be<br /><br>differentiated on the basis of affective response patterns. </p><br>
