1)Subjects having multiple teeth indicated for extraction (at least 3 non-adjacent teeth )
2)Patients who were overall healthy or who had controlled systemic disease (ASA I or II)
3)The alveolar socket which were free of any pre-existing periapical pathology based on intraoral periapical radiographic analysis were selected
4)Alveolar sockets with intact four wall architecture and depth >=5mm were selected based on their clinical assessment using UNC-15 periodontal probe.
1)Patients who were pregnant or lactating;
2)Patients who had received any surgical or non-surgical therapy or antibiotic therapy in the last 6 months.
3)Subjects having habits such as smoking, tobacco chewing or alcohol
4)Patient who had received radiation therapy in past.
