American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA) category I and category II adult patients aged between 18-45 years.
ii) Adult permanent asymptomatic non vital teeth requiring endodontic treatment
iii) Teeth whose non vitality is confirmed by Electric pulp tester (EPT) and thermal sensitivity testing.
iv) Feasibility of isolating the tooth with rubber dam with or without endodontic build up.
v) Vertucci type I and type IV root canal anatomy shall be taken for this study
vi) Subjects with the ability to understand the consent forms and the pain record scales.
Non vital tooth with periapical lesion
ii) Patients with preoperative pain (pain ranging for 1-10 on a numerical rating scale)
iii) Patients who have taken Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) or any other analgesic for pain within last 4-8 hours
iv) Teeth with calcified root canals
v) Periodontally compromised teeth
vi) Teeth with complex root canal anatomy
vii) Patient not willing to give consent for the study
viii) Violation of the apical constriction during cleaning and shaping
ix) Patients with known allergy to the materials used in the study
x) Patient not reporting for follow up
