Inclusion Criteria
All adults more than 18 years of age presenting with acute ischemic stroke of less than 24 hours duration
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with neoplasms, intracranial surgery, traumatic brain injury, thrombocytopenia, bleeding diathesis, venous hemorrhagic infarcts and metallic implants insitu which is contraindication for MRI brain
