Inclusion Criteria

Subjects diagnosed with dyslipidemia

Serum cholesterol levels 200 - 299mg/dl and/or

Serum triglyceride levels 150 - 499mg/dl and/or

Serum LDL cholesterol levels 130- 189 mg/dl and/or

Serum VLDL cholesterol levels 30 - 60mg/dl

Serum HDL cholesterol levels < 40mg/dl

Subjects fit for Virechana and udvartana.

Subject who submits and accepts a written informed consent.

Not undergoing in any other Clinical trials.

Individuals with normal Homocysteine (5-15Mcmol/L) levels will be included in Control group.

Exclusion Criteria

Patients with history of serious cardiac problems as Myocardial Infarction, malignant hypertension, cardiac failure.

Patients having major illness like insulin dependent diabetes mellitus and chronic uncontrolled type II diabetes mellitus.

Patients with history of any serious renal disorder.

Patients having Thyroid Disorders.

Drug induced Hyperlipidemia e.g. â?? Glucocorticoid induced.

Pregnant and lactating females

Subjects unfit for Virechana and udvartana.

Subjects with Homocysteine >15Mcmol/L levels will be excluded from in Control group.
