Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Pregnant females of age 18\-40 years of American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status of class I and II undergoing lower segment caesarean section.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients with history of use of glucocorticoids 12hrs prior to the first planned dose and pre\-existing dependence on narcotics or receiving chronic treatment with opioids and cortisol , history of drug allergy to dexamethasone or tramadol, history of Gestational Diabetes mellitus, Pregnancy induced hypertension, thyroid
- •disorders, anaemia, asthma, heart failure, peptic ulcer and other high\-risk pregnancies
