- •We will include;1. Cases from who we have received theirs and their parents informed consent. In addition, they must meet all the below stated inclusion criteria:
- •- Admitted to an ER as a result of alcohol intoxication
- •- Age 14-17 years at the time of ER admission
- •- Caucasian ethnicity (i.e., European decent), defined as having at least three Caucasian grandparents);2. Controls from who we have received theirs and their parents informed consent. In addition, they must meet all the below stated inclusion criteria:
- •- Age between 14-17 years
- •- Caucasian ethnicity (at least three Caucasian grandparents)
- •- Consumed at least 1 alcoholic beverage in their lifetime
- •- Alcohol use during lifetime remained below the level considered binge drinking:
- •* boys never *5 drinks/occasion.
- •*girls never * 4 drinks/occasion.

- •Main exclusion criteria cases:
- •- Non-Caucasian ethnicity
- •- Age outside 14-17;Main exclusion criteria controls:
- •- Non-Caucasian ethnicity
- •- Age outside 14-17
- •- Never consumed alcohol
- •- For boys, *5 drinks/occasion.
- •- For girls, * 4 drinks/occasion.
