Inclusion Criteria
1. Age group: 18-65 years
2. Male patients
3. Patients diagnosed with alcohol dependence syndrome –
withdrawal state uncomplicated (F10.3)
4. Patients diagnosed with alcohol dependence syndrome –
withdrawal state with delirium (F10.4)
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients with a history of comorbid psychiatric disorder, substance use
(except tobacco), mental retardation and debilitating medical
comorbidities.
2. Other causes for delirium such as dyselectrolytemia, infections, head
injury will be excluded.
