Patients requiring spinal anaesthesia for elective or emergency surgical procedures of ASA grade I and II

Exclusion Criteria

Contraindications to spinal anaesthesia

Previous history of allergy to drugs used

Heart disease

Pregnant and lactating women

To determine whether administartion of Intravenous Ondansetron has a role in attenuation of spinal induced hypotension and shivering. The following parameters will be assessed : <br/ ><br>1.The height of sensory blockade <br/ ><br>2.Heart Rate <br/ ><br>3.Blood Pressure and Mean Arterial Pressure <br/ ><br>4.Presence of shiveringTimepoint: Baseline, at 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes and 25 minutes
