- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The main objective of this study is to identify physiological mechanisms of weight regulation. Focus is, among others, on endocrinological, neurobiological, immunological, and psychosomatic mechanisms. Measurement time-points depend on the weight development of each participant, as measurements only take place on days of medically indicated assessments (for example, a participant undergoing bariatric surgery has medical appointments and hence measurements pre-surgery, 6 months after surgery, 12 months after surgery and then once per year). Measurements include neuropsychological assessments in combination with fMRI, blood value measurements, anthropometric measurements and further questionnaires.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method ot applicable, as this is a basic research study
