Patients of either sex in the age range of 18-65years undergoing elective spine surgery under general anaesthesia.
Patients with any brain pathology such as tumour, brain abscess, traumatic brain injury (TBI)
Patients with coronary artery disease(CAD), renal or hepatic insufficiency
Known psychiatric disorders or on antipsychotic/ antidepressants medications.
Allergy to the study drug i.e ketamine.
Patients with coronary artery disease, ischemic stroke, hemodynamically unstable patients.
Inability to obtain adequate TCD window.
Pregnant or lactating patient.
Refusal to participate in the study.
