1.Infants coming for cleft lip repair
2.ASA 1,2 patients
Exclusion Criteria
1.Diabetes, anticipated difficult airway, allergy to local anaesthetics or fentanyl.

Name Time Method Changes in heart rateTimepoint: after induction, then every 15 minutes
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Changes in systolic and mean arterial pressure, Intraoperative fentanyl consumption, total volume of inhalational agent used, duration of surgery, random blood sugar levelsTimepoint: Heart rate, systolic and mean arterial pressure will be noted after induction and thereafter at 15min interval till end of surgery. Intraoperative fentanyl consumption, total volume of inhalational agent used as well as the total duration of surgery will be noted at end of surgery. RBS will be checked immediately after induction and then hourly till end of surgery
