Inclusion Criteria
Age group between 13-21 yrs .
2) ASA I &II patients.
3) Patients having DMFT >5 and with at least one active carious lesion.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients who used chemical anti-plaque agents and mechanical debridement procedures or were under antibiotics therapies.
2) Patients with developmental anomalies.
3) Mentally challenged patients.
4) Patients with Xerostomia.
5) Patients undergoing fixed orthodontic appliance therapy.
