- Healthy volunteers who currently smoke 10 or more cigarettes per day, for the last 3 years. The trial intends to explore whether there is a synergistic effect between the relaxation technique of guided body scanning and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT). The principal inclusion criteria specifies that participants must be smokers aged between 18 and 65, who smoke at least ten cigarettes per day, and have done for the last three consecutive years. They must also be able to read and write in English.
