(1)be diagnosed with KOA according to criteria listed in Chinese guideline for diagnosis and treatment of osteoarthritis (2021 edition);
(2)Kellgren-Lawrence score of I or II;
(3)be assessed to have a =3 level of pain on the 10-point Visual Analog Scale (VAS);
(4)are aged between 40~65;
(5)be able to perform basic body movements like walking;
(6)do not have communication barriers with researchers in order to understand the instructions;
(7)body mass index =36 kg/m2
(8)be willing to participate and sign the informed consent form.
(1)have a physical or mental illness that seriously interferes with daily life or contraindicates exercise;
(2)the cognitive status assessment score =24;
(3)unable to complete gait analysis independently;
(4)have knee surgery or intra-articular injections within three months;
(5)perform Yijinjing exercise or other clinical exercises in the last 3 months, or have a habit of regular exercising for over 3 times a week;
(6)for other reasons that the researchers consider necessary to exclude.
