简要总结
• Athletes involved in repetitive overhead activities place unique demands upon the shoulder girdle.
• The glenohumeral joint is a common site for injury, which accounts for more than 30% of all injuries in overhead athletes.
• Throwers show greater glenohumeral joint external rotation range of motion (ROM) of the dominant arm as compared to the non-dominant arm. This loss of glenohumeral joint internal rotation ROM in the dominant shoulder is referred to as glenohumeral internal rotation deficit (GIRD).
• It is believed that due to this there might be hinderance in the throwing distance which in turn will lead to decrease in the accuracy as well .
• The need of this study arise to know the how much throwing accuracy of shoulder in handball player.
• There are very less studies have been done on throwing accuracy among handball players.
• Some studies have been done on throwing accuracy for another players but in this study we will find the effects of this on handball players.
• Another the improve for shoulder strength and prevent injury in future.
