Inclusion Criteria
1. American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status I and II normotensive and hypertensive adults
2. Either gender, aged >18 years
3. Scheduled for laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
1. History of congestive heart failure, ejection fraction <40%, significant valvular heart
disease, cardiomyopathy
3. Diabetes mellitus, jaundice, hepatic or renal disease, body mass index >= 35kg/m2
4. Pregnant females
