1)Rotator cuff tear involving supraspinatus or infraspinatus tendon with sized over 2 cm.
2) female > 65 years old or male >70 year old with BMD < -2.5
3) Who consent to the study
4) Follow-up duration over 6 months after surgery
1) Previous surgical history on the same shoulder
2) Infectious or autoimmune or systemic skeletal disease
3) Rotator arthropathy, moderate to severe osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis
4) current anti-osteoporotic drug users including bisphophonate
5) Contraindicated patients with bisphophonate
-hypersenstive to the bisphophonate
- hypocalcemia
- Pregenency
- Kidney disease with Creatinine clearance rate <35mL/min
