Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients aged more than 18 to less than 70 years giving informed consent to participate in the study.
- •2\.Patients with renal stones in whom PCNL operation was indicated/necessary
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patient not consenting for inclusion in the above study.
- •2\.Patients with pregnancy, mental disorders or illness who cannot understand or comply with the study protocol.
- •3\.Patients in whom PCNL was contraindicated (uncorrected coagulopathy,CRF) , etc.
- •4\.Patients with large stone burden, stone size \>3cm in size, staghorn calculus, bilateral renal stone, ureteric stones and multiple renal stones needing multiple tracts
- •5\.Patients with severe co morbidities (acute MI, bleeding diathesis, multi organ dysfunction)unfit for surgery/PCNL.
