1.Patiens scheduled for upper limb orthopaedic surgery.
2.ASA physical status 1 and 2 of either sex.
3.Age between 18 to 60 years.
4.BMI between 18 to 30 kilogram per metre square
1.Patients refusal for the procedure.
2.Patients having haemodynamic instability.
3.Patients with coagulopathy and bleeding disorders.
4.Preexisting peripheral neuropathy.
5.Preexisting local infection at the site of block.
6.Patients having history of drug or substance abuse.
7.Inability to understand functioning of PCA pump and VAS.
8.Contraindication to study drugs lignocaine, ropivacaine and tramadol.
9.Patients on chronic pain management drugs.
10.Patients with simultaneous acute postoperative pain other parts of the body.
11.Contraindication to general anesthesia.
